Join Daniela Roveda and the UC Master Gardeners Tree Committee for an engaging and educational pruning workshop at Emerson Avenue Community Garden. This hands-on session will cover the basics of pruning tools, safety, and techniques to help you care for trees effectively.
Participants will have the opportunity to immediately apply what they learn with guidance from experienced Master Gardeners while contributing to the care and maintenance of the garden's fruit trees. This free workshop is open to the public and welcomes volunteers to assist with pruning and cleanup.
When: Saturday, January 11, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: Emerson Avenue Community Garden
Bring: Gloves, sunscreen, protective eye goggles and pruning equipment (pruners, loppers, etc.). We provide if needed. Wear closed toed shoes.
